SQL Server - Delete Multiple Databases

A quick #tip on deleting multiple databases using SQL Server Management Studio.

SQL Server - Delete Multiple Databases

In our "unit" testing environment, we create multiple databases per project to run our tests parallel.

I'll write up soon how we're done that using netcore, but for now a quick tip on deleting multiple databases using SQL Server Management Studio.

As you know, in the Object Explorer, you can only select one database at a time. However, if you open View > Object Explorer Details or keyboard shortcut F7 you can select multiple databases.

Press F7, select all or multiple databases, Delete > Alt + C > Enter. :boom:

N.B: You would obviously only do this on a local server or build machine (with care), i.e. Not in Production.
